I might get to live on my own (part time) for a while. Sister has a friend who is buying a house with her boyfriend. So, the boyfriend needs to get rid of his apartment. The apartment is $500/month (includes everything), is in Denver, and has restaurants that are within walking distance (within a block or two). They MIGHT let dogs there. I would be splitting rent with my sister. We have different work schedules (she works Friday-Sunday full time), I work M-F full time. So, we really wouldn't see each other except Friday. It would save me money in fuel and maintenance on Zoomer. Just not sure how much it would save yet. Plus there is the food thing ... and parking is street parking (as far as I can tell). The place is in an old mansion/house that is divided up. According to my sister it is a loft/studio. Not sure how it works with other leasers though since, there is one kitchen. 0_O ... ???

Photos of the place......

An appropriate song title for your sister!

That's a good (GREAT) song title for her. :P I knew from the beginning that he would be a total jerk. IF only she had listened to me.

It's raining! DOH! There goes Zoomers wash job.

I didn't need to see that **** up close & in person either. EPIC FAIL on her part!!! That sucks about your phone. I'm pretty sure I am going to have to burn my phone when my contract is up. My morning started out with some HOT sexting.

I know I text a good bit but I would think it would last longer than it has. I charged it around Saturday afternoon, then didn't do any texting all weekend, a little yesterday and it went from 2 bars to dead this morning.

After everything I've seen with the nb2 yesterday and today, I'm really wanting to get one after I've gotten the Explorer paid down/off, just doesn't help with the getting 100% out of debt thing.

Ditto. I can guarantee I'll be getting one! Not sure if I'll get a TDI or the turbo gas...I'd strongly prefer a TDI, but we'll see how pricing is. I can see them easily topping $30k for a decently loaded one. The panoramic roof, bad-ass headlights, leather, & navi are musts for me.

Yeah I would love the turbo, but I guess it will depend on what gas/diesel prices are when the time comes. I've always wanted a TDI and loved the turbo when I had it. I can definitely see it getting pricey though putting all the options into it. Hopefully it's something I can afford.

Look at the GTI with the Autobahn Package: $30k. I see some gadgets/gauges in the NB that will probably make it even more $$$. If they happen to pull their heads out of their asses and have these babies top out around $27k (absolutely HARD loaded!), then they will gain a huge market share in the US car market.

It's going to be a long day. NOT motivated to do anything right now. All I want to do is 3D work ... not this other stuff I am doing. Which makes it hard to work today. Not getting ANYTHING done.

This morning at 1.30 I woke up with Wim, Manho and Joost.

Thinking about this later in the day, it was not necessary at all that they've used my standby-ness

I doubt this is true, but it makes for a good read anyway. This is suppose to be a craigslist ad posted in Savannah last year:

Quote:
I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.

First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment; I didn't expect you to actually crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket.. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason..my girlfriend was happy that I just returned safely from my 2nd tour as a Combat Marine in Afghanistan.. She had just bought me that Kimber Custom Model 1911 .45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening. Obviously you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head ... isn't it?!

I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge in your pants. I'm sure it was even worse walking bare-footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again].

After I called your mother or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as those of four other people in the gas station, -- on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 153 gallons and was extremely grateful!

I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!]

I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb .... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car.

Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what 's going on with that? Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target.

The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.).

In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider, the career path you've chosen to pursue in life.. Remember, next time you might not be so lucky. Have a good day!

Thoughtfully yours, Semper Fi,

Alex

We're under a tornado watch. 70-80mph winds are expected with tornados and larger than baseball-sized hail.
