Why don't you introduce 2nd days?
That's what we have here.
We have a 2nd Easterday on Mondays, a 2nd whatever religious day on Monday which comes after Easter usually in June and we have a 2nd Christmas day.
Which means that this week I only have to work 3 days as Friday is a holiday - day as well

If you look at the calendar, you'll notice that it alternates between long month (31 days) and short month (30 days), except for July and August. This is because Augustus did not like the fact that his month was a day shorter than Julius' month, so he stole a day from February and moved it to August, hence we have two months in a row with 31 days.

I don't think anyone should get it off, unless they are off on Sunday anyway; I mean, when I worked in radio, I never had it off, and cops and firemen, they never have it off...

Christmas is on the 25th, partially, to piss off those who were pagans, who were doing something on or around the 25th of the month, if I recall the unofficial history of the day.

There's also the knuckle-trick. If you make two fists, and put them together, then look at the "tops" and "valleys" on the top of your hand, you can determine if the month is a long month or short. Starting from the left, there's a top (left pinky finger), then the valley would be February. At the end of the left hand, there's July (top = long month), and the first month on the right hand would be August and again a "top" ...
