Yes. It hits me like a brick. 20 minutes after I take it I'm out like a light until 6:00am the next morning.

I wanna take 3 Ambien and sleep for 3 days straight.

That would rule!

Could be if you use it long term (like in months). What I do is use it only on weekdays and/or for resetting my clock when I travel internationally. I have not had any problems with it, except making a few goofy phone calls to friends, but that only happened twice.

You can only get it from a doctor, but they seem to not blink an eye when prescribing it. I've been using it for 2 solid years now.

Ha ha...yeah it was me.
"Hey is your refridgerator running?" etc etc

They call that symptom "Ambien-esia" because you don't remember a thing. Some people will compulsively eat or try and drive.

I am the king of sleep aid info.. Melatonin will work well to get you to sleep provided that you are relaxed enough to get to sleep. It will not put you to sleep on its own.

Valerian can also be purchased from the drug store or health food store and also works well to get you a little hazy when you take it in triple the suggested dosage.

Skullcap is another herb that works well in combination with Passionflower root or Valerian. (It is usually taken in combination with Valerian)

I find a good mix to be 2 melatonin 4 Valerian, and 2 Skullcap.

(or 1 little 12mg Ambien)

Sleep is yummy.

I want some now!

Can someone pick some things up at the grocery store for me and drop em off at my apartment? That would be great. I'll make you lasagna. Not today, though. When I have more sleep, I will.

ha ha..yeah my life is nutty. I travel a lot for work. If you don't go the prescription drug route, you have to swallow a lot of the herbal stuff. (but the combination does work very well) As I mentioned, I abstain from Ambien friday, sat & sun, so I wind up gulping down 8 or 9 pills at a time. I'm getting really good at getting it down in 1 mouthful instead of breaking it up.

I've heard of WEIRD side effects with Ambien. Eating in your sleep, driving in your sleep, a compulsion to gamble, and having sex in your sleep!? CRAZY stuff.

I'd have to lock my cell phone up before bed. I already have dreams where I randomly call people in my contacts list and blab random crap out to them...then I wake up all panicky wondering if I really did.

Then I shouldn't google it either.
But since I'm very afraid now, I won't

Would you be angry if I say that I will be going in a couple of minutes?
It's almost 11pm and there's work to be done tomorrow, so this sleep addict should lie down anytime soon (am already sitting in bed if you like to know )
