See what I mean about having a lot of crap piling on at once? And this is only part of it
I can answer this one for sure, as it happened to me just like you described, only it was my dad dying, and not my grandfather. My dentist told me at the time, to hold off if I could, because the hole in my mouth would really hurt when the air pressure changed in flight.

And you will have a small hole where the teeth were.

I'm sorry about your problems. I really am.

I got good pressies for Christmas.

I got a digital photo frame, a digital photo keychain, some gift cards, a fondue pot, a soft serve ice cream maker, a heat/massage thingy for my desk chair at work, Mama Mia on Bluray, a pretty jewelry chest...a couple other little things.
The in-laws were pretty good to me this year.

I still hate my step-mom.

Oh and Skittle isn't going anywhere. Just her license plate.

One of my friends got me the series for my Birthday this year. Best show evah!

Season Five, Episode 22 (also the 100th episode) "The Gift", where Buffy squares off with Glory and Season Six, Episode 7,
"Once More With Feeling" (The musical episode) are my two favorites.

Yes, it's the only Starbucks in the neighbourhood if not in the whole country! They actually have a couple of locations at the airport, of which 2 at landside (before customs). The hot cocoa costed me €5, but it was worth it

Good pressies Amy
How does it work with nameplates, do you need to renew them each year?
