I envy you. I really do. Some people say relationships are good. You gain experience from them. I say "BAH!" I would have loved to have met Vinny 1st and no one else. We probably wouldnt have had so many problems in the middle of us dating. Those other idiots broke me. Some say you have to be with an idiot to appreciate the good ones...I don't wholly agree. Those idiots made me self conscious and for the longest I didn't think I was good enough for anyone so I pushed people away. Thank goodness for therapy. I had one guy actually tell me he was only with me until something better came along.

I agree. I didn't look around and have a lot of envy at the boyfriends my friends had. A lot of it looked like a pain in the ass.

Usually, from the outside looking in, it's easier to see the truth. I'm so glad my dating days are over. It was way too much of a pain in the Too bad most of us aren't good at stepping outside ourselves to look at our lives and evaluate.

But again, I didn't have a choice - no one would date me! Boys in high school generally don't want to date fat girls. I had many great guy friends, but they of course dated my smaller, prettier friends. I'm not bitter, seriously, that's just how it was. In retrospect, I don't feel like I missed out or anything.
