Is that a slang word? really? I've never heard of it and I think I know what you are referring to.

Yesterday when attending the bar at the place where I play darts, a kid (18, 19 or perhaps 20?) when asking for a beer said "U" to me. This U is the formal "You" which you say to older people or people you don't know.
I gave him the beer (we serve alcohol to kids 16 and older, so no breaking of the law) and asked him to PLEASE say "je" to me instead. Meaning the informal way.
Later another kid said the same! What the

Also I was paired up with a very nice and cute guy yesterday
Too bad he's married with kid(s) already
But.. I've had a good night yesterday although I missed out on the GTG the NB club has held this weekend

Do it! An aircooled motor takes all of, what, a weekend to rebuild, if you're going slow?

Whoa! You got a Porsche 924S Turbo (the car) for one buck? What wrong with it? What's wrong with the previous owner?

Well, she was a tad drunk I think.

Today I mounted a light up above the grill. And it's not a light that had a cord, as in, plug right away, so I took a extension cord, cut the end off, put a switch with a added plug in the middle of the line, and now I have this really cool light/plug deal out there.

Oh, that description sucks.

Maybe pics later.

Random time.

Tom, You should jump on that even if it means going through hell to get it. If there was an opportunity like that over I'd be pooling all resources to get it.

Farris, Yeah it's not at all that bad. The biggest thing is knowing the torque specs for everything. And if you are working on A/C then the idiot book should not be far away.

Lars, Yeah a 924s and parts for a buck. I've got some pics in the other rides section. It needs to be re-assembled. And the PO had some life changes and lost site of the project.

I replaced the oil cooler seals and pushrod tube seals (heads have to come off) in my 68 a few months ago. Took me 24 hours from the time the motor was up on the stand to back on the jack and ready to go under the car... including time to sleep, eat, hang out with a buddy who was in town for the weekend, surf the internet, etc.

Hehe! We had a good time, of course

There was one thing that happened in the happiest place on earth that made me not so happy. We were in the Magic Kingdom one day and Vinny decided he wanted to take the ride on the raft to Tom Sawyer's Island.

Reluctantly I went along...
Well...it was that packed, if not more, and the person driving the raft went too fast and the raft started to sink. The front was disappearing under the water and I thought we were all going in the drink Even after the person let off the throttle it was still going under until everyone backed up and then it lifted back up. I did NOT want to get back on that stupid thing to go back to the other side but I had to. I just made sure it was on the OTHER raft. I was cursing that stupid Tom Sawyer throughout the whole walk of his Island

Twice we ran into people we knew, though.
One day we ran into the Maitre D from our wedding. He was also the person we handed our money to every time we went in to make a payment and then the next day we ran into Vinny's Aunt Paula's sister-in-law and her husband and daughter. It's a small world after all

Woo! Are you in Florida now? Tell Mickey I miss him

I think we're going to buy into the Disney Vacation Club so we can go more often. I need my Mickey/Old Key West fix at least once a year

That's my second home

The entire state of NY can breathe a collective sigh of relief: My sister has left the premises! I'm sure the # of scripts for Valtrex has dramatically increased from the time she arrived until she departed.
