Note to everyone: Don't ever total a car.

So I get a call this morning from the bank asking me details about the wreck and about my totaled car and the details of me buying it back... I was like, wait, hold on, what did you say?

The insurance has apparently decided to total my car, and called the bank to tell them FIRST. The impound lot decided that we were going to buy the car back (since we discussed it as an option, and had the car towed back to my house to avoid anymore 50 dollar a day storage fees), told the insurance company, who proceeded to TELL THE BANK FIRST. WTF!

I'm really steamed right now. Steamed like carrots at an old folks home.

How much is the buy back? They definitely should have consulted with you before discussing anything with the bank (I think).

I have no clue. They haven't even told me any of their official decisions yet, including fault.

Hell, the West Richland Police Department hasn't even decided if they're going to write a ticket or not!

They haven't got the police report done? I thought that it was crappy that it takes 3 days here! Do you have GAP insurance on your loan just in case your insurance company tries to screw you? Usually buy back is 10% - 15% of payout.

Officials had searched the girl's backpack and found nothing, Thomas said. "It was eminently reasonable to conclude the backpack was empty because Redding was secreting the pills in a place she thought no one would look," Thomas said.

"Redding would not have been the first person to conceal pills in her undergarments," he said. "Nor will she be the last after today's decision, which announces the safest place to secrete contraband in school."

What does that leave? Prison? I meet new people through friends but no one I want to particularly date. I'm still against the idea of marriage for myself but I DO want to spend my life with ONE person. I guess what I'm rambling on about (I need sleep!)is if I haven't met them yet, I hope its sooner rather than later.
I totally understand what you are saying. I dont go to church, clubs ... and rarely bars. I couldn't date anyone I work with. Besides, most of them are married anyway. Obviously, Craigslist didnt work (LOL) ... and ... well, what else is there? Ugh.

WTH?!

So is it wrong that I recently told BW, who recently ended his first big relationship and thought he was getting married, etc....

Well I told him he should spend some time exploring girls and not look or get into another heavy relationship.

I told him I didn't mean to have one night stands but to def have some fun and keep it under wraps.

He's 20, he needs to have his heart broke at least a couple more times before he gets it right and before that, he needs to have a bit of consensual fun.

Am I a bad mother?
No. Not a bad mother at all!!!

Actually, according to dictionary.com ... secrete:

se⋅crete
1  /sɪˈkrit/ Show Spelled [si-kreet] Show IPA
Use secrete in a Sentence
–verb (used with object), -cret⋅ed, -cret⋅ing.
to discharge, generate, or release by the process of secretion.
Origin:
1700–10; back formation from secretion

se⋅crete
2  /sɪˈkrit/ Show Spelled [si-kreet] Show IPA
–verb (used with object), -cret⋅ed, -cret⋅ing.
to place out of sight; hide; conceal: squirrels secreting nuts in a hollow tree trunk.

Great minds think alike! I have the same picture a few posts up. She was a beautiful person. I'm just glad she's not suffering anymore.

Perhaps we should start a dating website for people that don't quite like the idea of dating websites?

Or a newbeetle.org dating service!

New LENNOX A/C partially installed in actic. It's hanging from the rafters.

It's freakin' huge. As I type this, I'm in my office, my little window A/C at 60 degrees F and a fan blowing on me. Still 79 degrees in here right now...could be worse.

Meh.
My building I am working on for work looks like Sh!t. Or potatoes.

Bleh!

I signed up a while ago for a website called MINT (Free Personal Finance Software, Online Money Management, Budget Planner and Financial Planning | Mint.com) ... you put your banking account number in there, as well as credit cards and stuff ... and it keeps track of what you are spending and how much debt you have. So far this year, I have spent $500 on coffee shops! :O OY! I think I gotta stop.
