Not to start anything up again.

Pictures don't lie. I believe the video is even more damning.

I have my own, Daddy's Little Princess, childhood nightmare that I grew up in. I know what happened. Because he never admitted it and I have no proof, does that make him innocent?

I have flashbacks that can be triggered out of no where.

I went through three months worth of PTSD 18 months ago stemming from an incident that would've just annoyed most folks for a couple hours.

IF that boy was molested by MJ, I hope some of that 22 million went to healing him.

If anyone had told me that I could be brought to my knee, 42 years after the fact, for three months from something that I took the time to deal with and rise above, I would've laughed at them and waved them off.

My father was horribly abused by his pyscho mother as a small child. That did not give him a pass to live his life as he did as an adult.

I aplogise for lapses in grammar and spelling--- this is a very raw subject for me.

Now--- as you were.

Dawn I am truly sorry you had to go through what you did. I know that probably doesn't mean much, but I am. I can sympathize, although I am not as brave as you and TJ to talk about what I went through and I give you both lots of credit for being able to do that here. And yes I agree MJ was screwed up and no, just because there is no evidence that he didn't do anything it doesn't mean he is innocent but if you look at his interview with Martin Bashir, you can see his innocence (as in being childlike) and he admitted that he thought there was nothing wrong with having sleepovers with children. He saw himself as one of them. And the parents of those children saw dollar signs when he asked permission for their children to spend the night with him. They should have never allowed that. I don't care if it was The Pope asking or Jesus Christ, himself. MJ's mother even made a statement before all the accusations started flying that he was going to get himself in trouble because he is too naive and too trusting and wouldn't listen and would have to learn the hard way. In my heart of hearts I believe he meant no harm to those children and in no way do I think it was OK for him to want to spend the night with them but I think it was one big kid wanting to hang with other kids. Everyone who was talking last night about him, who had been to Neverland Ranch talked about the rooms and what they had in them. Giant super hero figures, tons of toys...I really think he was trying hard to find his childhood and was trying to use his money to buy it and IMO, was almost as innocent and childlike as the children who he wanted to spend time with. He was good friends with Macaulay(sp?) Culkin, Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Taylor...he surrounded himself with people who understood him. Or at least he tried to. The people who were closest to him everyday (only in proximity) were there to use him for his money.
I could see how someone who has been through what you and TJ have been through would find it easier to think him guilty. It's completely understandable.
I think those parents were doing nothing but extorting money from him. Again, do I think he was normal? No. Do I think it was OK for kids to spend the night with him? No. Do I think he was innocent? Yes. But I think that I'm entitled to believe that and I don't feel it takes anything away from the seriousness of the acts the have been committed against children, proven or not. Do I think him being abused by his father excused him from being the way he was? Yes, to an extent. If it was proven that he had molested those boys then that would be a different story. I think his weirdness should be excused but not any illegal acts.
But that's just my opinion.

Oh and when he hung his child over the railing I think it was just as stupid as Britney driving with her kid on her lap. Bad judgement but not malicious.

PM coming your way, Dawn.

I actually don't have a firm conviction on if he did it or not.

I studied his body language on his video statements and it swings both ways as to the message it tells of guilt or innocence.

I know in my father's case, there were many things he blocked out of his memory of what he did or didn't do.

He could look anyone in the eye and deny things that multiple people witnessed.

I believe he was not evil. He was broken. Blocking it all out was the only way he could live. To confront it would've done him in.

All that said, as an adult I understood that. I also understood that he was capable of hurting and blocking out as it was how he lived.

The only thing I could control was me. I chose to have no more to do with him in my life over 26 years ago.

He died in November and I did not shed one tear.

I mourned the father I deserved many years ago.

I agree about the baby dangle/ B Spears comparison. I wasn't saying that proved he's was anything more than caught up in his own weird world of gum drops and hula hoops.

Just pointing out that he was indeed not holding on with two hands. Nothing more.

It's also too bad that no one was strong enough to step in and take control the way they have for B Spears.

And all that proves is everyone's right.

He had both hands at times and just one at times actually holding the baby during the time he moved back and forth over the railing.

I swear we were separated at birth or something! I don't eat cow, pig, fish, lamb, rabbit, etc.. And if I ever do eat meat it's either turkey or chicken. I do however have many, many 'cow' leather handbags and all my Frye boots are cow leather too. So how stupid is that?

My distaste for beef has nothing to with cows being cute and cuddly, I just don't like the taste. As the saying goes, if you lick it and it tastes bad - DON'T EAT IT! I think 28 of my last 33 cars have had leather. Its my favorite smell.

You'd eat a smurf? I **WISH** I could find the link to that smurf porn someone showed me recently! There was a LOT of smurf eating going on! Seriously, they were all painted completely blue at the beginning but as bodies rubbed together the paint was rubbing off.

I eat meat. I am a carnivore. If it has meat, I'll eat it. I'll eat fish, fowl, cow, lamb, pig (mmmmm, bacon!), gator. I've also tried whale, and I want to try ostrich and emu if I can get my hand on some...

There's a crude joke to be made there, but I won't be the one to do it.

While I won't eat pig (religious reasons), I'll eat pretty much anything else that moves. I have tried alligator. It literally tasted like chicken. What's really good is emu eggs.
