I got to do a couple of other things first, before I move to W7. I want to get my mail migrated to the my new server first, then there will be less issues with things getting wiped out...

I still need to use Vista for my EE classes, so Win7 resides on a separate partition for now. When my school gets the final version in the MSDN thing, I'll spring for it then.

I often wonder the same thing. I have a big binder for all my MS stuff, including CDs for XP SP1 and XP SP2. Unfortunately, I cannot find the license keys for XP SP2 anywhere... Oh well, moving to W7 soon, don't expect to install XP again any time soon.

I have to use Vista for classes as well. You would think that by 2009 all classes would be Apple or Windows.

Time for turkey!

Yes. It's odd that I have some online courses that only work with Vista and I.E. They won't work with Apple or Firefox or Safari. Or even Camino.

So I use a Vista machine for those classes.

Now I get it. My mind is still swimming with SciLab crap.

I remember there was a point in time (roughly 2 weeks or so) where MSN Hotmail wouldn't work on Firefox 2.0. I was LIVID, and wrote M$ probably 3 or 4 NASTY emails (that I had to write in... internet exploder ).

Do you dual boot Vista and OSx on your Apple? I'd be curious to see how well Win7 boots/runs on a Mac.

I did the whole duel boot thing for a while, but to be honest, it was just easier to get a simple HP Mini Tower (or whatever it's called), and run Vista on that. And in nearly two years, not one problem with Vista. And I don't even run any security on it. (I have Verizon FIOS with built in security).

We haven't had any problems with our Vista machine either. It has the specs it needs to run.

I had issues with my Vista Ultimate. But, that was from Dell. Now, with a sexy clean install of Win7 ... not an issue yet!

I think you'd both have to move to Utah first.
