I was probably about 15 feet from him/her and that was plenty close for me

OURAY, Colo. — Wildlife officials say a bear was found feeding on the body of a 73-year-old woman who had been repeatedly warned not to give dog food to the bruins that live near her home north of Ouray.

A caretaker said she saw the bear over the woman's body Friday and called 911. The victim's name has not been released.

Colorado Division of Wildlife spokesman Joe Lewandowski says it's unclear if the bear killed the woman of if she died of other causes. He says the woman was known to feed bears dog food and would not stop, even after repeated requests from wildlife officials.

Sheriff's deputies investigating the incident killed an aggressive bear at the woman's home. A necropsy is planned for the 250-pound male to determine the contents of its stomach.

I found it! It's a 1958 Ford Country Sedan. Thanks for heading me in the right direction.

That's a promise I can easily keep (I never stepped entirely out of the house as I took the pic) - what worries me is what my folks do when the bears come around - sometimes they try to shoo them away with noise, sometimes they go to the opposite part of the yard the bear is at to grab the suet that's out for the birds (bear out in back yard, they might go out to front yard to grab suet feeder) - you just don't know how long it's taken for my SIL and me to finally get them to keep the garage doors closed!

Part of the reason I have started to go over to my folks' place - 'checking in' to make sure all is well. (glad it's only 4 miles from my place).

I just went outside to wash the bug guts off my car (I was on out of town with it this weekend and hit EVERY bug on the Interstate ) but I retreated back indoors to the comfort of the A/C. Its still 84º w/69% humidity.

Its not the heat that gets you here in the South (Kentucky), its the humidity. I'd imagine Arizona has dry heat?

In comparison:
The heat in Arizona is like a hug with a skinny friend: Warm and enjoyable. Heat in KY is like hugging Kirstie Allie after a workout: Hot, sweaty, and leaves you needing a shower.

Yeah, 130 is hot, and you sweat no matter what. It's not that bad anymore now in August, but June and July, we get that alot...

I live in San Antonio one summer ... Never again.

I can't complain this year: Our summer has been SUPER mild compared to most summers. We've had a TON of rainfall this year so its been more wet than hot.

There are two answers here: Most of us would say to help you 'work out' and get toned/ripped. Kirstie Alley would say to torture you. Why am I rippin' on Kirstie Alley tonight?

Yeah it was alright. We had some good diner food the first night. I got a nice burger there and it was surprisingly good. Made some pizza at the future SIL's pad that night. We had some nice pancakes at Perkins this morning followed by 72oz of quality beer (for me). I grabbed some malt, hops, and yeast while i was there (Keystone Homebrew) for an ale brew. Than we hit up this place Cali Burrito in Allentown. Awesome surf/reggae themed burrito/taco joint blasting some hard roots regge. They even had H.I.M. Haile Salassie I on the napkin dispenser. Cute wait staff and solid food. So yeah, food and beer. Not too shabby.

This is my first from scratch brew with my own homemade malts and my own recipe. Creamy ass head on this, mega protien haze, and the aroma of creamy jaggery. It's nice and smooth with a good hop finish. A bit of alcohol in the finish, but no astringency that i can detect. This is good stuff that is going to improve with age. I must make more of this someday!
