Are you sure? 305? You sure don't look like it. Where do you put it?

I have smaller goals.

#1: Get under 220lb

#2: Get under 200lb

Yep. Hand to heart, I weigh 305 pounds. I'm not sure where it's stored... maybe I have some type of invisible weight sack strapped to my body.

I'm starting with logging everything I eat, then seeing where my dietary no-nos are. Then I'm going to cut back on food, which should let me lose about 45 pounds or so (I've done it before on just food). Once I hit that plateau, I'll be able to work out reliably. As it is right now, I can't run very long because it hurts my ankles and knees.

I used to weigh almost 400 pounds. Now I weigh 170. Sometimes it gets down to 150. But never less then that.

Oh yeah? Did you get something in the mail? Are they fixing it as an extended warranty on the part, or are they treating it as a recall?

I just got off the phone w/Dell technical support (over an hour!) and I THINK my laptop is fixed. "Ranjit" (How I Met Your Mother reference!) finally figured out the proper network driver for me to install (only took him 3 "tries") and once I got online, he took control of my computer and installed everything for me. I'm defagmenting my hardrive and then I'll start installing EVERYTHING all over again.

I got an email (I had signed up on the mailing list). Basically, you just schedule an appointment with your nearest dealer (1.5 hours away for me), and they inspect it to see if the body is cracking where the subframe mounts to. If it is, they weld in a reinforcement panel and put the subframe back in. It's a silent recall, AFAIK. E46 owners have until Sept 9, 2010 to have it inspected.
