I've had one busy week this week and am glad its Friday. Wednesday I had a meeting at work with my Manager, VP and President of Customer Service to discuss what we see and hear during the day so they can fix any problems that we are having on the call floor.

Okay first off this is just WAY cool to get the chance to talk to these two gentlemen. Darrell, the VP, I met last month when we launch the call center and I adore him. We talked about incentive programs for the top performers and its in the form of money I'm talking $100 minimum and a chance to win $1000, cool aint it?

Then yesterday morning I had to be at work by 9am so I could have breakfast with Darrell and the president along with 7 of my co-workers. DUDE!! that was awsome. I talked numbers and conversion rates of the number of customers who actually sign up and use the direct deposit feature of the card we offer. Now I aint no fool I did my home work the night before so I could go in and tell them what I personally needed to shoot for each day as far as the conversion rate goes. This impressed both gentlemen (yeah skittle be kickin' butt at work)

I'm telling you they LISTEN and fix the issue as soon as we go look this aint working. Darrell was on his blackberry (looked to be a curve for the nosy people) and was emailing Shawn back in Austin about an issues we had during the meeting while we are STILL in the breakfast meeting.
SOOOOOOO if any of you are looking for a good company to work for move to Abilene and come work with me.

Weird story of the day:
From the Denver Post
Lawsuit says tumbling gravestone severed boy's ear - The Denver Post

Quote:
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo.—Glenwood Springs has asked a judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a woman who says her son's ear was severed when a gravestone fell over at a city cemetery.

Leticia Alvarado of Battlement Mesa filed the suit in May, saying her son Efrain was hurt two years ago when the headstone toppled while they were visiting the grave of Efrain's sister.

The suit says Efrain's ear was cut off, causing hearing loss and scarring. It's not clear how old he was.

The city argues it has immunity from lawsuits. It also says it isn't liable because individual grave sites are sold to families and that the city doesn't install or maintain gravestones.

The judge hasn't ruled on the city's request to dismiss the suit.

I'm off to break the Internet.

Well, for a small group of people anyways, and hopefully, only for a short period of time

Can I quote myself? Yeah, I'm quoting myself.

Yup, I broke the internet, kinda bad. Was 30 seconds away from rolling back when I had a "duh" moment. So, I fixed the Internet again. For a small group of people. Yay.

I saw the new Mike Judge film, EXTRACT. It was pretty good.

I was, however, the only one there in the theatre when I saw it. That can't bode well.
