I wanted to stay in bed this morning. I have a headache and it's soooo cold out.

Yay! 2 1/2 more weeks!! I'm going to have almost 2 weeks off.

The week of Christmas the only days I have to work are the 22nd and 23rd and the week of New Years the only day I have to work is the 29th.

Hey Steph!

I revert to the idea of "pack mentality" and natural survival instincts. A being is more capable of survival in a group than solo. This just shows basic need to live. This does not prove "love".

So...We bought this exact car yesterday. Same color and everything:

It's a 2009 Hyundai Sonata and I have to say that I was never a fan of Hyundais AT ALL but this really is a nice car. It comes with XM Radio, and the Shiftronic (Hyundai's version of Tiptronic) transmission is a blast to use It's a 4 cyl but you would never know it. If you just tap the gas it wants to take off. And it has a sharp looking shark fin antenna on the roof. I guess Hyundai has changed my mind The new Santa Fe's are pretty nice too.

They are, IMO, a little overpriced though. They start at 28,000 for AWD before tax and all.

Yeah...well, we'll take turns so the miles don't rack up too badly. He drives over 60 miles a day so we want to try and hang on to that warranty as long as possible. It's their usual 10yr/100,000 mile warranty but since we picked it up yesterday we've been hearing nothing but good things about the Sonata and Hyundais in general. All the people that I know that have them have not had one problem and havent had to use the warranty. There is even a warranty on the tires!

Amy, you could have at least got a nice color! It's such a grown-up color!

My mom has a 2003 Santa Fe and loves it.

I will one day stray from the Beetle...

There's no apostrophe before an 's' when you're talking about the plural version of a word. "I took some neat photo's!" is NOT correct.

It's much nicer in person and IMO all the colors were grown up colors I wanted white or black but Vinny didn't so...I didnt feel like arguing and since he's going to be driving it more and I wasnt there when he was picking the color I told him to pick anything but beige or tan. It's kind of a gray color with a tinge of green. It's really not bad

If it's going to be in the daily grind of street dirt and all, then yeah, that is the color to have.

It is a nice car, but that other person is sorta correct; it is kind of grown up.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

It's called natural khaki, so yeah, I guess it is army green.
Vinny said he didnt like the white. He said it was too white but he was looking at the cars in the dark under the parking lot lights I told him I wasn't signing anything unless I was OK with the color.

Little known secret? John knows how to use a sewing machine. Tis true. I ran out of electives in the 8th grade so i took sewing one quarter. I never finished my project, but that's okay.

Ooooh good point! Injured animal = food concept? I like it!

I'm eating probably one of the worst cheeses one can eat. Bleu cheese. It's freakin delicious, but ooooo man the salt and cream factor is crazy. Gonna have some soup once the microwave is vacant, maybe.

I heard the ___ in my pants song today too. I gotta say, i don't get it. Maybe the video makes it funny so i will check it out later i guess.

So Steph and i live near one of these places. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bochasa...arayan_Sanstha
We never knew what it actually was, but it seems pretty interesting...if you're a Hindu of a particular sect. It's kind of like a big community center and (for lack of a better word) "bible study" promoting clean living and Indian culture.

We also have a lot of meat stores for this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halal
Again, also interesting. We have tons of these places near us. Now i know what the heck it's about.

My project soon is to find a good Indian grocer in search of rare chiles. Must get Steph's friend Tina on this one for me. I'd like to find one that's welcoming to wacky Caucasian guys.

I was feelin pretty good....la-la la-la
