OH SNAP! :P

I like that song too. And ... another one. Cannot remember the name right now. DOH! Hope she gets better soon - Winehouse that is.

Went to the car wash today. There is usually a guy there that helps you if you need anything ... like, your card won't work or, the hose is jacked, grounds keeping sort of things. ?? Well, today, this guy was totally on the flirt juice. He has helped me in the past with my card cause the card machine was acting up. But today, I didn't need help with anything. Ugh. Good car wash and nice guy ... just, not my thing. He's like, my parents age. And, he is touchy feely type bleh bleh. I don't want to be mean to him (I know what it is like to have ass holes be mean)... but, I don't know if I will go back to the car wash (which is the best one in Greeley). OY!

The other Winehouse songs I think are ok:

- Cherry
- Wake Up Alone
- Back to Black
- Amy Amy Amy

Oh ... and Gaga. She died her hair blonde so that she wouldn't be mistaken for Winehouse. I can totally see why. But, they are both pretty in their own way (Winehouse BEFORE issues though).

Well, the hubby made a very last minute trip to California to see his grandma over the weekend because her health has been seriously declining. He's so happy that he went. Even more so now because he got the call this morning that she had passed

She was a really great person. I only spent a little time with her but I loved her dearly. She reminded me a lot of my great grandmother who we lost a few years ago, and I was very close with. Bill is holding up ok for now. He is taking some extra time off on his lunch break today to clear his head.

Please keep his family in your thoughts. His dad flew out over the weekend to stay with her and take care of her for as long as needed. I'm sure this took him by surprise.

^ Very sorry to hear Jess.

On a much lighter note, my sister calls me from Louisiana today & informs me she needs me to feed her cat while she's out of town. Its not a huge deal since she'll be feeding my zoo while I'm in FL but a little notice would have been nice. She mentioned it 6 or 8 weeks ago but not a word til this morning. As a small token of my appreciation, I was going through her fridge & licking the inside & outside of all of the open containers & when I got to the milk, I took a big gulp to spit it back in the jug & it had expired on August 22. Looks like the joke was on me!

Yes, I realize that's wildly immature & something a 10 year old would do, but I don't mind.

Well the memorial for his grandmother is Tuesday. So we're flying out Sunday, along with his little sister, to go be with the family and pay our respects. Glad I can go. Missing 2 days of classes for it, but its worth it.

On a lighter note, we have our coilovers! Our cat approves of them and is climbing all over the box and trying to get into it. She loves boxes. But I think she likes the low that has just entered our house

I <3 our kitty She really is obsessed with boxes. As soon as the box came in, she was climbing on it. And once she realized it was open, she wanted in it. Its adorable.

Mine do the same thing with boxes & bags. If I bring a plant or live flower in the house, 'Scooter' HAS to inspect it first, or she will knock it over later checking it out.

I thought my cat was going to hurt herself the other day. We have decided to leave a box out for her and I moved it so I could sweep. I set it up on its end and she decided it was time to play in it. So she jumped into the box and then it fell over! I was worried, but of course she thought it was all a fun game and then proceded to run out of the box and run through the house like its a racetrack, which she also loves to do. She acts surprisingly kitten-like still for being at least 3 years old.

Cute! :P Cats and boxes. Wonder why they like them so much??

ViVi likes bitzing - running around really fast, then crashing on the floor and rolling on her back. Means she is happy in "Bichon speak".

I think that getting my hair cut and colored would make me feel better about myself. However, it costs money. DANG YOU MONEY!!!!1

Taken from the local newspaper:

Quote:
Burglary — Someone entered an apartment in the 1000 block of Shive Lane between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday and took seven CDs, a bottle of Motrin, three mixing bowls and a jar of pickles. Losses totaled $129.
CDs, OTC pain relievers, 3 mixing bowls, & pickles? Really? Pickles? Did Snookie from the Jersey Shore start slummin' it in Kentucky?

Hey Danny!

Something different.
With my fellow condo inhabitants (average age 70's) I crashed a personnel party of the taxi company nextdoors It happens that one of the people in my building is the mother of the owners. It was fun and hilarious at the same time.
