2009 Calendar thread

Well we have a fun little make your magazine thread here on the org- CLICK HERE TO SEE. With much thanks to Lmhansen for starting it.... I kinda took it over, but I do enjoy doing them.

Anyway, I though it would be a fun thing to start a beetle nation '09 calendar thread. I'll be happy to make a month for you all. What I will need from you is..

1. a pic of your nB
2. What month do you want- i used March, my birthday month.
3. what caption would you like just below your picture.
4. The description text, going across the '09 will do just that: note the name and type of nB, and owner/nB screen name.

Please note my submission. it will give you an idea of the layout and what i'm looking for.

Okay gang, Danny just used the threads Mulligan. So everyone else needs to please give me the parameters I need. All though I do have fun doing this, this is not my vocation and even with templates, this takes time.

At least give me what you want me to write in the area just below the picture....Please.

You can if you like, but it's not necessary. You can post it on this thread and i'll copy, paste and go to work.


This calendar won't be going to print, it's just a little online fun. However, you could save your month to a USB Flash drive and copy it at Kinkos.

Al, I would be honored if Ernie could get into your calander. You may use any of the pics in Ernies thread. Let me know any way I can help. I would like to put something to do with Star Trek/New Beetle, my 2 passions. I would like to choose May, as that is the opening of the new movie.

That's why I mentioned to you good folks to specify a month you'd like. being that this isn't a calendar that's going to print, you can be placed on a specific month. I'll fish through some of the photos and make a 12 month shortly.

He will take your Bug, your caption, and your choice of month, and then post it here.

THEN, you the nB lover, take the 12 months of your choosing and if you so desire, publish your own little calendar for your self!

You can have your car, say, on July, be on July, and pick 11 others of your choice!

Is that right Al? Did I get it correctly? If not, let me know!
