Default anyone know how to build an ark?

I'm beginning to think we're gonna have to start gathering the animals and get them on the ark. We've had rain in Atlanta every day since Last Tuesday!!! Water levels are rising and to scary levels. Has anyone seen the news for the Atlanta area today? The rain has killed atleast two people and it swept away a mobile home and a 3 year old is still missing. Rain is expected to continue until mid week. It's getting scary around here. Roads are falling apart, bridges are being swept away, people are trapped in their homes or communities because the roads are not passable. People's cars are getting flooded, basements flooded, houses flooded, you name it. I saw a report that a couple had slept through the night last night and when they woke up they found that their dog had drowned in their basement!!! It's been raining all day.....all night.....all day......all night.....will it ever end?

Again, WANTED: Someone to build an ark and save us here in the Atlanta area and save all the beetles that might be in danger as well.

This rain is still on going. It has shut down schools, roads, buisnesses, and saddest part is it's killing people. That 3 year old that was missing....they found his body. Please pray that this rain ends soon....and I mean SOON!

I left work today at 3pm. I normally get home around quarter to 4, I JUST got home at 5:30.

Thank god i just bought a gps so it lead me on the backroads all the way from outside the perimeter, traffic was still at a standstill once i hit the city because the highways are SHUT DOWN. It's a monsoon outside today.

This is a civil engineer's worst nightmare...yet it is extremely interesting and a lot can be learned. Water is an extremely powerful thing. Roads and cars are no match for it when it gets like this.

There is no reason for floods to kill people. Simply put, do not drive across flooded roads...and try to stay on higher ground. Look out for the little creeks and valleys and be cautious of roads that go over them. Culverts can and do blowout and roads get undermined even if they are not underwater. People get themselves in trouble by going places they shouldn't...plain and simple. Look at those pictures posted and how many people are trying to drive into flooded areas.

I wish you the best of luck, get out of town and to higher ground if you are able.
