that's funny
Hopefully my recipient will be in for a surprise by the end of this week.
It's also that suspense which is killing me. Will the person like what I've put in the box?

With tomorrow's weather forecast calling for 2" - 4" rain, it should be perfect for the wrapping part - shipping to follow shortly.

If they DON'T like what you put in the box, then they are just plain stupid

When you came to visit and brought those really sweet little ceramic shoes and the little waffle cookies, those were the coolest presents ever cause they were unique!

My gift arrived, I lovingly repackaged it and shipped it off. It will be at it's new home this coming Wednesday

I'm afraid the $ limit had to be...... bent.. a little to appease my own sense of "giving the proper gift"

I did too. I don't really know how much I've spent on the gift, but the shipping was shocking! and unexpected. But oh well, I'll live and I won't eat any less for it

ugh...i feel so far behind! lol

My remedy? Listening to Christmas Music 24/7, hanging up decorations and such, hitting stores and malls every once in awhile, and thankfully the nice Georgia weather is predicting some light white percipitation tonight...so maybe that'll help when I get paid again next week....

Things are looking up. Still have not been able to find any New Beetle Christmas wrapping paper - so once again it's do it yourself time - at least this way the giftwrap becomes part of the gift.

I don't know what you sent, but if anyone sends any type of media, CDs, DVDs, Video, Books... it is about half the cost. All you have to do is tell them you want media! I was sure mine was going to be 7 or 8 bucks to send, because of the weight, but I told them what it was, they punched in media and it was 2.38!!! I was glad too I had to "bend" the rule a tad too.

You will see shortly what I've sent to my recipient
For parcel services outside of Europe and between the weight 500gr-2000gr, it's €19,95 priority and only €2,20 less if it's standard shipping.
The weight was just below 2000 grams (2 kilograms), lucky me!
I partially filled out the customs form as otherwise all would be revealed without even opening the box

I was the lucky recipient. Mazzzja went way overboard. I will list out everything tomorrow...after midnight here now..and I need to be up at 5:00am to get my kids to a meet at Princeton in the morning.
