I'm not really a big fantasy sports guy. It's hard enough for me to keep up with the reality side of things. Good luck anyway

i hear that i pretty much just "set it and forget it" like the guy says in the chiken cooker commercial. I am so jacked for the race on sunday (one of the perks of being single) that it is driving most people i know crazy.

idk about you folks, but i found lindsey lohan really attractive in herbie:fully loaded, along with the mods they did to herbie, that clear engine bay cover (would it be the trunk or hood???) was awsome

Nascar, well..........It just seems the same people win those races over and over again. I would say 2/3 of the drivers that are out there don't have a snowball's chance in you know what in winning. I have been to Richmond,Martinsville, and a few years back Rockingham. It was fun. If your team has LOTS of MONEY you win. If not, your out there to get passed. I would much rather watch Trans Am racing, F-1, or something like that. Lets go racin!

F-1 I feel is more about if your team has money than NASCAR.

I've been to a few races. They have all been good. Went to the only Pepsi 400 (the 4th of July race) that got postponed. Yup, the year of the fires in Florida. Also went to Atlanta in '01.

Also had tickets for the IRL race in Richmond for 4 or 5 years in a row. Those were some good races.

I'm into racing of all kinds really. They are all talented drivers and its all different. I don't discriminate. NASCAR, IRL, F-1, drag racing, etc. I grew up around it. My dad raced local tracks before I was born. My parents met at a local track in Maryland too so yeah, racing has been in my life from the day I was born

i really wish they would revamp rockingham so nascar can race ther again instead of just using it for a test track, along with a few of the other track nascar cut in the 90's and 00's. those where some really great tracks.

lawn mower races are awsome, I know a guy that can build a "pro street" racing lawn mower that will go 40 mph while only using the supplyed parts of the original factory lawn mower, oh and it has a functioning blade on it to.

Yeah, they are cool. I don't hate them or anything- they're good for kicks and giggles. Speaking of out-of-the-box races. When Speed channel was Speedvision back in the day, They used to show big rig racing. It was pretty friggin sweet to see. They were mostly Volvo and Benz cab-overs. Those rigs were hittin' and gettin' it! I'll have to see if I can find a few of them on YouTube.

In other news..
Tomorrow I hope the weather will be fair enough for me to wear my Black Jr. baseball jersey to work. Our warehouse is a friggin icebox; I don't want to look all stylish yet freezing my tookus off

What a race.... from all that i've seen. By the time Val and I were done with Church and Valentine's Day dinner, there was about 80 laps left when I got home. She was nice enough to let me watch the race from where we were eating, which was Carraba's.

First, I hope Daytona resurfaces the track before the Coke Zero 400. The track was a piece today. a lot of delays and repairs. Another wreck-fest as well. I was kinda bummed that I didn't hear DW give the first Boggitty Booggitty Booggitty of the season.

Second, I'm loving that the bump drafting rule has been loosened. If Daytona is any indication, look the heck out!! I can only imagine what short track racing is gonna look like. I dunno if was the lack of the bump draft rule, or just a bit of new aggressiveness, probably both, but my man, Jr. did his thing at the end of the race. The cautions didn't help Harvick out though. If it weren't for the last 2 cautions, Kevin whould've had the race. But racin' ain't about 'could haves or maybes', it's about the moment and the moment was in Jr.'s favor. Yes, He finished 2nd, but i love the way He moved up from 10th to get there. It was some good racing all the way around.

Very happy for Jamie McMurray! good kid.

Man i'm glad to see NASCAR BACK!!

How did you all like the race?

The finish was incredible. The kid looked a little like his old man during the last lap. The jump from 10th to 2nd was the nicest run I have seen in a long time. A great start to the season. I hope the NASCAR officials let them race like that all season. Congratulations to Jamie!

Great finish to the race! We had errands to run today. I saw the start and then the next 2 times I turned it on, it was for the pothole repairs! I then turned it on at 3 to go. Crazy finish! I've never been a huge fan of Jr. but he could use a win. I was rooting for him. But hats off to Jamie. Good kid and a great guy to win the race.

Not gonna lie, he had me crying with him in Victory Lane.

Exactly!! I was thinking the same thing! The old man was emerging through His son. I really think the lighter bump drafting rules are gonna be to His benefit. Me and some buddies have been saying that He needs some #3 aggressiveness and He showed some of that today. I hope he keeps it up. And I was rocking my 88 jersey today.

one of my least liked races ever due to the 2 red flags for pothole repairs, but that jr stunt at the end was great. I did not miss the first boogidy of the season. The loosening of the bump drafting and aggresivness rules will make for some AWSOME racing this season.
