Default End of a Hard Winter

I have grown very tired of brown and grey. I've seen a lot of winters but this one has been one of the worst I can remember. I think we finally made the turn today. The sun has finally come out and I found evidence in the backyard that says Spring is on the doorstep. Check this out. I hope it makes you smile too.

Here too, the winter is almost at it's end.
It's been (here as well) one of the toughest winters we had in tens of years. Weeks of snow, freezing temperatures, tough wind, and this till about a week ago. Normally, signs of Spring can be seen middle of february, so I can not tell you how happy I am that the winter is almost gone.

Months of cold and grey weather really have an impact on the mental side too. I get grumpy easily, am tired all day, don't feel a thing for going out or something, pffff.

But now, days are longer, temperatures are going up bit by bit, people are in a good mood, mmmm, I long for the summer

Today is the 2nd day of Spring. Winds are blowing at over 30 mph and it is miserable but we have good news. Looks like we won't be getting the 10+ inches they originally predicted. Won't be here long. Supposed to hit 70 Tuesday.

We still have snow on the ground and its cold. Supposed to be in the 70's later this week and then another blast of snow by the end of the week. I'm so tired of this winter. It has been one of the more difficult winters. I'm ready for spring.

Friday was snowy and chilly (30s), today is sunny and 50s - a typical Colorado spring. Snow is still possible but the really cold days are over.

COME ON SPRING!!

We haven't had any snow here this week, just a cold, steady rain.
