Tom, just saw you in a private room. Anyone know how to play against a robot and still be available for someone join?

No Idea... It's not like there is anything else to do but play games. Which means that 99% of the time you aren't available seems like poor planning on their part to me.

This works! Instead of clicking "play robot" on the main scrabble page, choose a room from the list below. Then choose a table and the options window will come up. You can pick "allow players to replace computer players after game starts" under Customize Your Table. And you can check "use these options the next time I open a new game."

As long as you choose the room and table, someone will be able to join you.

Yeah, I play Scrabble, but on a real live Scrabble board. When I can find someone who knows several languages, I like multilingual Scrabble. My 30-something-year-old daughter also plays Scrabble, and a family friend was a competitive Scrabble player.

I have the travel version with the plastic ridges to keep the tiles from sliding around and the normal version but aside from my mother's occasional desire to play I never get to use the boards.

scrabble has been the source of many board-flipping blow-outs between my older brother and I (he cheats), but I still LOVE to play this game. And I probably will continue to play it until they stop putting more boards into circulation and we lose all the letters hahaha

I want you to skool me, take me to the brink of torment when we play. Trust me. Inspiration... I know how much more fun the game is once you've figured out how to score. Most of the words are either nonsense words intended for scrabble use only or lil words sitting on big prizes.

As much placement as tiles if not more. You can do it. I've seen your scores. A little placement tweaking and your score will easily double.

omg. I love scrabble. I'm not too great, but I enjoy playing. I even own the computer game. I got into playing it whenever a friend of mine would come home on leave from the army, and since he played that alot...

may have to check out pogo sometime soon...
