Weather Channel showing big, bad storm coming to the Mid-South, maybe lower, upper East Coast. To all my new Bugger friends and acquaintences there, stay warm, and more importantly be safe!

Yeah, top guess is it's going south and gonna hit the Carolinas. Luck to everyone, getting through this, regardless of how it plays out!

Sounds like right now they aren't predicting much snow (though we'll be getting some). But they are predicting more in the way of ice, which is far worse. My first day back to classes this semester is Tuesday...playing it by ear to see if I'll be making it to campus or not!

We got hit with it last night in Chicago. Terrible. A little bit of snow during the day and afternoon. Maybe an inch, but then everything froze. I355 was terrible. Slipping and sliding everywhere and doing 40mph tops. Some fools were flying. Wait until they have to stop. Went to work this morning and all is well if 12 degrees and a -6 wind chill is good. Be careful everyone.

Good morning everyone, nothing here right now, but they are calling for some Tue-Wed too. I guess I'll have to stack up some wood this weekend, I hope its not as bad as it was the day after Christmas.

They're guessing 6-10" of snow, here. One of the forecast models is saying 20" totals, overall. I doubt it. People are starting to hoard food. I was at Wallyworld early this morning, and I talked to the bread truck driver and he said he has a full truck of bread just for one store. He has to stay there all day and keep restocking the shelves.

Parking the NB tomorrow and getting the Dodge 4x4 out of the mothballs.

Cold predicted here on Wednesday. Might be 5"-6" of snow, might be 5"-6" inches of snow, covered in freezing rain.

Everyone, stay safe.

Thumbs up Could be worse!

Cold as hello here in Houston, high sustained winds, heavy rains off and on, but nothing like others are getting or going to get!

It snowed for the majority of the day yesterday, tacking on about 3 inches. My bug is the best in snow. Only had a few drifts here and there. Had to do a lot of driving yesterday in it, but I'm alive!

The snow storm coming up the east coast is predicted to hit tuesday night into wednesday. I wouldn't mind it one bit. It's gonna hit hard. I'm going to hibernate.

Looks like more snow for the Chicagoland area. It's supposed to start overnight tonight and continue for most of the day tomorrow.

Well, we got 6-8" of snow with 1/2" of ice on top of that. All the roads are iced over. It took me 2 hrs to drive 26 miles to get home from work, last night.

The whole upstate South Carolina is shut down.

No snow here. Just really cold. Well, for Waco. 27 this morning, wind chill 14. It will warm up to the 50s by the weekend, though.

We didn't get any snow, but we did get ice. Started last night and kept coming while we slept. Hubby called out of work (brought home his laptop so he'll be working from home some) and so far, campus has canceled classes through noon. My class today is at 1:30, but I would need to leave at 12:30. My road is entirely ice. No way I'm driving in it. I don't want to miss the first class of the semester, but no way I'm risking it if they don't cancel more classes.

They are calling for 9-15" of snow up here for tomorrow. The forecast keeps changing every 5mins. I'm taking the day off tomorrow either way.
One thing I did notice last snow storm is that when I slamed on my brakes, they pulsed and made a "pulsing" sound. I'm assuming its the ABS?
...And the reason for slamming on my brakes: Learning how my car drives/handles/reacts in the snow...it was an empty mall parking lot BTW
