Default Thread for thread hijackers ;)

This thread will be the place for all thread hijackers [cough, cough, MORAV} to come and play...

But, in order to hijack this thread, it has to have a topic.
So, the topic will originally be:
Future Mods that you want to do and why

I was wanting to put a SC in Moe, but there is a NBC that I may buy instead

Me?

Oh, this is just so funny! But you've already given it a title!

And besides, I "know" that girl and sent her an apology for us running all over her thread, but it really was within the realm of the topic anyway!

Here is the last of the hijackers
That car looks way too good for $4.5k. I'd hit it ASAP if I were you. I wish mine was a turbo.

Morav, I understand what you say about the lens but the back up light lens is not clear like front fogs. It is cut, same as the red one although the red might distribute the light intensity better than an all white. I am gonna try a cheap red bulb and take pics to see how good or how bad it is. If it works it works, if not then red lens it is.

Hey, at least we were still talking about lights but I know I have to stop doing that

This bulb should be what your looking for. Maybe a matching white for the other side. Let me know what it looks like. A rear shot with only the left red on, remove or black out the right light, in reverse and have the running lights on for a comparison.

Probably a POS, but a good way to find out what 24 LEDs look like in there. I didn't pay any attention to the wattage.

I'm taking a look at it today. If I pull the trigger, I plan to swap the trannie to a 5 or 6 speed. Rebuild the head, and upgrade the turbo. Then I'll lower it just a hair, throw some twists on it and be ready for biz-nass

Hellz yeah! I'll be in Maine nxt month for Tobaggan races in Camden!

That does make the beetle look square, pretty cool!

IRT fog light, just get a bright red bulb and call it good
I'm gonna mess with VCDS sometime this week and see what I can do as far as light settings go.

OMFG! ALF!!! I remember being sneaky watching alf through the crack of my door when I was suppossed to be in bed! HA!

Went and looked at the 04 NBC today. Typical dents and dings. Pass side rocker panel pushed in, pass rear fender w/ rip in it where it joined the rocker panel, the trunk release on door didn't work, had CEL on, no service history, pass rear window not working, front end loose, needs new rear brakes, struts, shocks, ect...gonna pass even if it is $4500

Don't blame you, too many issues for that kind of money. Pictures are often big liars. Shame

Sent them a message, waiting for an email. Going to see it tomorrow afternoon if they are available. Going with $$$$ in hand! Gotta' do a little research and see what wholesale and loan values are. Hellofa Deal, it the car's excellent. Four owners though. Want to hear everyone's thoughts on price and any recent comparisons!
