I may get flack for this but ..
.. I did it!
Was offered a GREAT trade in value for my new beetle MC (120,000+ miles!). I did not intend to do anything, just went to check something and walked out ... drove out rather in a 2010 Kia Forte with only 4,700+ miles on it and remainder of the 5 years/60,000 miles warantee. They paid off the balance I had left on my car after we negotiated for a few hours but they convinced me to let go ... I prayed a lot too  ..... I guess now I have to sell parts I JUST bought to do some work on the new beetle. Don't worry, I will still be here but I am going to concentrate on getting my 1975 bug fixed from now.

We are gonna miss your bug. Probably not as much as you are. You cant go wrong with a Kia. I bought a 07 Sorrento for my wife. The car has been almost flawless over the 60k we have put on since new. So uuummmm... what kinda parts ya got for sale?

No doubt I will miss my beetle ... already do, but the Forte is making up for it.
Going to put up a list with pics over the weekend but it includes the molded mats from ECS Tuning .. Last edited by antonym; 05-20-2011 at 10:44 AM..

WOW! what a suprise
 No flack from me mang. You have a growing family and needed more space. Good move on the Kia- they've really come a long way mang. And you can't go wrong on the warranty they offer- wish VW would do the same  .You still have your '75, so you're still in the ballpark . Get you a thread fired up when you get the chance.Speaking of Kia's that Optima is hot!!!

BTW, check out the new thread section. There's someone in Orlando that's in need of some door panels. His handles are completely gone. I'm sure MC's panels would be a help

Aww, times are tough, I can sympathize.
So, umm, you don't have those daisy brake light covers, do you? BTW, anyone else notice we react the same way when a business goes out of business? Aww, that's too bad. So...what's on CLEARANCE???
