Homes with Unbelievable Garages - Yahoo! Real Estate

I have a friend, the founder of the original "Escort" radar detector, who has a set up like this, about 16 cars (all spaces filled with Vettes and Ferraris), offices, full time employees, etc, on his estate in Cincinnati on the old "Kroger" (that one) Estate. Killer. His home, on the same grounds, the house of one of the deceased Kroger daughters, is haunted by her (friendly and well documented).

One of those homes is down the road from me! I know where Cornelius is! Hmmm...

Our 2-car is good for now though. Keeps us from getting too terribly car happy. Oh, and I have no problem with the term "man-cave"...a guy needs his space. But our garage is not his man-cave, as I know I'll be spending a lot of time in it too. There's a workbench in a crawlspace-turned-basement under the house so that's his space...all the car parts are there too. Lots of stuff to tinker with

I am impressed with the fact that my dream garage is way nicer and WAAAAY cheaper than any of those.

My issue with (almost all of) those is that they're not considered "garages" in my eyes... Gorgeous showrooms, yes. But, in my opinion, a "garage" is a place to wrench on your car as opposed to just a place to store it. I don't know, maybe I just live in the real world...
