Important message regarding "hot topics" such as religion and politics.
Please note that Miscellaneous Hoo-Ha is not the place for potentially push-button topics such as politics and religion. We have a forum just for that sort of discussion and debate, called Hot Topics. Hot Topics is a by-request area. Anyone can join, but you must request to do so by going to the Group Memberships page in your user control panel. This is simply a process we have adopted to allow those who are not interested in these topics to not have to see them. As we sometimes have problems with "trolls" in this area, it also allows us to keep track of who is posting there and who's not. Again, anyone is welcome to join -- you simply must request to do so.
