What should I sell my wife's car for??

My Wife loves her Beetle. and I secretly do too. (it is a great car) Anyway. The family is growing and we need a bigger car. It is a 2000 GLS Turbo, Automatic, Reflex Yellow, Every option. 70k has a few little rock chips, and I cannot find matching touch up paint. brand new tires, Completely stock. I was thinking of asking somewhere in the $7-8,000 range. is this too much? Also I was told there were only 800 reflex yellow beetles made? how accurate is this? Thank You for your help.

That price seems fair, I think. Maybe more towards $8K. Did you check Kelly Blue Book? Or see what something similar is going for on eBay.

HMMmm... so, one must ask this question. If you both love the Beetle, instead of selling *her* car, why not sell YOUR car, instead of hers? Just curious! hehehe
