You are looking at my father's 2008 New Beetle Convertible. It has ONLY 997 miles! This car is basically BRAND NEW! We picked it up last fall so it has tons of factory warranty left. It was a replacement for a truck and my Dad wanted something fuel efficient. However my father was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons and is having issues driving stick shift. He is going to probably replace this with an automatic Beetle or similar.

His loss is your gain as he paid over $23k for this car new just 6 months ago. It is a 2008 Salsa Red over Black 5spd manual New Beetle convertible. Please note that 2008 was the LAST YEAR you could obtain a New Beetle in stick shift. As of 2009 all New Beetle 'verts are automatic only... so if you are looking for a manual transmission this is the car for YOU!

This car comes standard with keyless entry/alarm, power windows, door locks, cruise control, and much more. Traction control, dual airbags, and ABS brakes just to name a few other safety features. You can find more details about the New Beetle elsewhere so I'll spare you the full list here.

Again this car is roughly 6-months old, sold new to us from a VW dealership. Balance of factory warranties remain and the car is like showroom new. Has not even had an oil change yet it is THAT new!

Shipping/delivery of the car is at the buyer's expense. Car is located on the near east side of Cleveland, Ohio. Payment must be certified funds, or any personal checks would have to clear first. Again I am helping my father sell this .. we are individuals not a dealership.

Drove the car a week ago to a local VW GTG to try to sell it there. Some interest but everyone there already had a VW and nobody wanted another right now. Bummer!

So the car has ~1100 miles now but remains very much like new and ready for a good home. Any reasonable offers will be considered!

If my job was in a better state I would be all over this , I had to sell my 04 NBC and miss it dearly .
