MD,
Default FS MD: 2000 NB GLX. Low miles.

Hello
As fun as my Beetle is, I need something a bit more winter ready for my 70 mile daily commute.
Car is a 2000 GLX 1.8 turbo, automatic, with leather, sunroof, and and 6 disc CD changer. Only 83,000 miles! Dark Blue.

Good:
Mechanically, this car is solid. Mechanic owned, and fully serviced. Timing belt service with all seals, filters, and fluids done at 75k miles. Also fixed all coolant leaks. Engine runs great!
Heated leather seats are very supportive!
Car has only had 2 owners.

Bad:
The car shows it's age. Paint is peeling on the bumpers, and on the plastic fenders. Interior also has some wear and tear, but nothing major.

Will post pictures tomorrow, as soon as I have some daylight to take them.

Price: $4,800.
email: rhlangenhoven@gmail.com

Thanks
Rohan

How about some more interior pics? Dirt... no big deal that is what they make soap for. Also any mods on the car or is it all stock?

Back seat has no tears, just a couple of "dents" from being folded down for a long while. Will even out on a hot summer day.
Car is doing 70 miles a day, 5 days a week. Just turned 83,020 on my way home today. Forgot to mention, car only gets premium fuel.

Myself I would put a good set of snow tires on it and drive it. These cars do really well in the snow with a good set of tires and the traction control. Kinda makes me miss my 2000 GLX, same color, Baltic Blue, except mine had a gray gut, and a 5spd trans. Good luck with the sale. Seems you already have a nibble.

Bump for a steal! Car looks great mechanically and inside, and just need's a little love on the outside.

This should sell fast, in my opinion.

Good luck!

Just a weekend and a tank of gas away for a TDI.

Curious question... the floor mats look like floor "buckets"; what are they? Are they aftermarket?

Also, could you take a pic of the Trunk, spare tire and the assorted jack tools.

Car didn't come with floor mats when I bought it, so I got those. The floor mats/buckets are aftermarket, and tub like. They go up the sides a bit. Quite nice for collecting the dirt dragged in by your feet. I have 2 sets, one still new in the box, that will go with the car. Also have a few other things that will be thrown in with the car.

Forgot to mention. I only have one key for the car, and the fob is held together with tape.(Again, it came like that when I bought it).

Will get those pics soon. My weekend was interrupted with snow/rain, and temperatures are normally below 25'f when I get home.(Not calculating wind chill)

No problemo on the key; after you have taken them apart so many times they will not stay together. I use color matching duct tape.

Ditto on the weather here as well.

My awd replacement is ready for the commute, so this car will pretty much be parked until it's sold. 84,539 miles on the clock.

If no serious interest by the end of the month, it's going to carmax!
