Default color concept values

I'm still new to NB shopping and I've come across a few 2002-2003 color concept cars at dealers in my local area. Mileage from 50-75K. What I like the most about these is the firmer, more supportive S style seats and take 5s. The blue lagoon cars seem to have that funky 6 spoke (much harder to clean) wheel.

For you veteran trackers, what's up? what are these going for?

thanks!

The Color Concepts don't really go for anymore than what a regular GLS 1.8T would. Sadly. The 6 spokes on the Blue Lagoon are 'fairly' easy to clean ... just gotta use an old tooth brush. :P

What a beauty and a steal for low 7k! Wonder if it's mechanically sound (at least I hope for whoever purchased it).

If this car is for your young driver, I do not suggest a turbo, let alone a color concept (rare car). Granted, that is for you to decide.

My six spoke wheels are a pain in the behind to clean. Stay away if you can! :P The S seats are great, though.

Thanks for putting up with me... so $7K is a good buy for a CC?

Just trying to get ideas, a feel for common sale values and ways of looking at the search (comparing mileage vs. overall cost, etc). I tend to get focused on the search, but keep learning more, so my ideas are quickly changing on how to go about the search. There are dozens available locally all the time so that makes it kinda fun without being too much work.

Well you're lucky they're all so available! I never see such beauties here.

From the body standpoint it looks like a good deal. I'd want car history, test drive, examination at the mechanics. That whole deal.

Mine was around 8k, with very few cosmetic problems, no reported accident history (but the rear wheel well is a slightly different shade of red ) and 100% awesome mechanically.

In the past few months I've seen some CC's with mileage as low as 22K, sell for as little as $5500-6K. Winter is a great time to buy a car because small car prices drop in the cold weather, while in the summer they are higher.

I won't go into how much I paid for my CC... when I got it, it was already 5-6 years old, had 21K on it, and I spent.. a LOT of money on it. Way more than I should have. But I wanted it. It makes me happy. (runs to the garage to hug Sting)

There were (2) yellow CCs in Portland a month or so ago that each had 20Kmi but were painted like bees for 8K each. A little steep for my plan, and needed paint work but they were almost brand new.

I was surprised at the money the cyber green CC got yesterday (low $7Ks) but it just takes one to pay. The biggest thing that I find is that most people are upwards of $1500-2000 over market on their asking prices.

I really appreciate the notes-- I get a little OCD when car shopping and impatient, but will keep looking.
