Okay, so I haven't been here in a while. I'm not sure what to do with the one-and-only Miss Ruby. I think it's time for find her a "new" deserving owner who will love her as much as I have for all these years.

Aww good luck Deb, I know the feeling. Just to give you an idea, when I sold my NB it had just rolled over 100k miles and got $8000 for him. I forget what the original asking price was (maybe $9500?), but it was haggled down to that amount and was bought by a fellow enthusiast. You definitely don't get back what you put into it, sadly :/

Unfortunately now your going to get a $$$ lesson in moding. Run the value by the book. You might do a few hundred better (if the car is in REALLY good shape or you find someone who wants all those mods and wants to save about $45k-$50k). Any idea what you can buy for that kind of money used?

This listing is like flash backs to my own mods back in the day. Unless you have the good luck fairy on your side you'll get whatever a bank will loan. Call your bank and ask what they would loan on your car to someone. Little more than book probably.

You could be driving a Mercedes, BMW, or Vette for all that money you lit on fire and watched burn

I'm willing to bet that the OP enjoyed what they spent their money on, otherwise, I doubt they would have spent it.

Of course the money spent on mods could have been used to purchase a "Mercedes, BMW, or Vette", but this is a VW New Beetle forum, so it isnt surprising the money was spent on one

Anywho....

Great looking car. I like the mods. I plan to put a SC in mine here in the next month.
