Thumbs up '05 Special Edition "Domingo"! German. Sweeeet....

Very interesting '05 Special Edition, Domingo, Two-tone, on eBay. Nice looking car!

Volkswagen : Beetle - New - eBay (item 120677164712 end time Feb-03-11 18:00:00 PST)

Must have been brought to the States by an individual, according to this, Germany only.

About the VW Beetle Special Editions | New Beetle Domingo

Strange, American dash (mph) and American rear bumper. AutoCheck shows it first being registered (in CA) with 175 miles. Anybody ever seen one of these in the States?

They were available here - 500, I think. I remember seeing them at the Chicago Auto Show and at the local dealer. I just saw one on a used car lot a few months ago.

Known as the Bi-Color Edition, they might have been the companion to the Dark Flint convertible.

When they were discussed here on the .org, the general conscensus was that the burgundy paint should have gone higher up on the door.

Yeah, I'm getting they must have been available here too. Found another in Tulsa.

I'm surprised that VW doesn't just post here instead of hiring designers! LMFAO

I would agree. I think this one got the line right.

That looks very nice. Platinum gray is a great color to begin with but that combination and the wheels... me likes a lot

Nice! Don't care for the checkerboard, but nice. Esp with the color matched wheels. Factory probably put the line where they did, so they didn't have to special finish the door pulls.
