99 NB 4sale 117k mi $3750

Been a long time reader of the forums but just recently joined. This place is great, always been able to find what I am looking for, with a little bit of elbow grease & digging...

Anyhow, we're selling our white 99 NB GLS, 2.0L auto, with 117k miles. We are the second owner & the car is in great shape mechanically, just had the timing belt, tensioner, water pump & thermostat replaced at 115k miles check-up. The cooling system was flushed and had the transmission fluid also checked, all as preventive maintenance. Battery was replaced within the last 12 months, can't remember when exactly that was done.
The car is white with black/gray interior, it has all the power options (no sunroof) & has the VW/Panasonic 6 changer in the trunk.

Note two things: First, it's a NYC car and has been all it's life so the bumpers could use some fresh paint & second, the A/C is temperamental, blows cold at times (heat works just fine, the a/c just stops blowing cold but starts again later in the day?!?). This started late this last summer and I haven't had it checked.

The car is and has been completely stock always. Reason for selling it: We just sold our other car and want to sell the beetle also in order to buy a brand new car. We only need one vehicle, my wife uses the car and I commute by train to NY. The car is in downtown Stamford, CT. Asking $3750. Clear NY title.
