Question

Hi Matt,

Was the source I gave you for new in your other thread, at about $100+ for the pkg, not available?
CD Player for 2000 nb GLS
That's an excellent price for new and your not inheriting someone else's problem(s).

With some power sellers on eBay, it's not unusual not to get a reply about a specific item, or general questions. Many are dealing with hundreds of listings and may be dealing with dozens of sales in the same day. Doesn't mean they are not good sellers, just that they are not set up, or have the staff to field questions. They attempt to put all the necessary info in the auction to dissuade people from emailing questions, some even opt out of the feature all together. Their feedback is top notch and the three products are the same for all models VW. If your looking for a savings on combined shipping it is probably not offered if such is not stated, although many sellers will combine products into one shipment if they are bought close together and they catch that they are going the same place. But if you're not comfortable with this Seller, maybe someone else has a source comparably priced with more buyer oriented customer service. There is a thread currently running with a bracket listed on eBay that is a nickel cheaper.

M.

eBay is really quite simple (and a great place to buy stuff), easiest if you have a PayPal account . And anyone on here would want to be paid through PayPal. I'll be glad to help you. If you're not comfortable with the language, I can hook you up with someone you may be more comfortable with.

And no need to be even a little embarrassed, we were all Newbies, here and other places at one time or another.

Tendría que ser más cómodos hablando en español?

Okay! And you have a bank account. That an an email address are all you need to set up a PayPal account. PayPal is extremely safe, it is owned by eBay and I promise there is no safer site on the web. Both sites are extremely user friendly and SAFE!

A big advantage is that you don't have to give anyone your credit/bank card information, No identity theft or credit card abuse worries. You have PayPal protection on some types of purchases and almost all eBay purchases, with a resolution center you can go to if a seller doesn't ship or ships a misrepresented item. You can also receive money from others. The Seller always pays the fees, so you have no concern there.

Go to www.paypal.com and look around. read about all the features. To set up a PayPal account, click on the "Personal" file, and then click on "New to PayPal? Sign up" at the bottom of the blue Account Log-in box. From there follow directions. To verify that you own the bank account you set up they used to make a small deposit into your account. Once doing so, you have to tell them how much they deposited. I don't know if they still do it this way, I have been on eBay and had a PayPal account for over twelve years.

Once you get your PayPal account set up, I will help you get an eBay account set up and give you some tips on how to buy and how to bid on eBay. I see many Bidders, with hundreds of transactions, who don't have a clue. The way they bid, they do nothing but run up the prices for all of us, and if they are the successful bidder, pay way more than they would have had to, had they been just a little more savvy.

I'm going to continue to do this by way of posting as opposed to p/m as I am certain there are others on the Org who are equally unsure about how to do this and are too embarrassed to ask, or have an unfounded fear of PayPal and/or eBay, who will be appreciative. For everyone else, humor us.

Not to worry. p/m = Private Message

Simply meant that I would post the help on your thread instead of sending it to you in a private message, as help for anyone else who might be in a similar situation.
