Going to take more money than its worth to go through the entire engine bay and who knows what else to get that thing up and running well. Hasn't been started or driven since '99 so I can only imagine how dry that poor engine is. Needs some TLC. So sad to see a NB that has just sat for 12 years

So what was the reason behind all the fake wood trim? Was this a company promo car?

As stated in the listing, yes, a promo car for a wood furniture company, and real wood, not fake.

I would buy it if they still had the original parts to replace the wood. I do not like the the wood at all.

The wood is a wood veneer overlay.

I know, but all that adhesive to clean off, if you could get it off; I would rather have replacement parts.
