New CD head unit?
OK so I took my NBC to the dealer and told them that the passenger side front dash speaker crackles occasionally...their answer is to replace the whole head unit.
The dealer is going to replace the head-unit and I was wondering if anyone had their dealer replace the cassette head unit with the cd head unit (under warrantee)? Seems like if they replace it with the cassette unit would be a three year old unit, since all the newer (2004.5+) NB have CD head units. Question is: will it do any good to complain to VWOA about this?

It probably would be a cassette unit, they still are manufactured as replacements. But, I don't see the harm in asking for a CD unit...
