OK, you electronic geniuses, I need your help!
Radio display does not come on, and of course, does not turn on.
I have checked the two radio fuses on the side of the dash (and I hear the CD motor briefly activate when the 42 fuse is replaced, so I know the radio's getting
some sort of power), and for good measure, ALL the other fuses as well (some were upside down, and yes, I wanted them all right side up). AND yes, I've removed the radio and checked the 10A fuse on the BACK of the radio as well.
Curiously, my Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth
still works through the speakers, dials out/receives calls as normal (I just can't adjust the volume, because... duh... the RADIO won't turn on!). Up to now, for weeks now, everything worked beautifully.
The wiring harness locks on at each step, I can't imagine it has unhooked itself, but this weekend, I guess I'll take the whole thing apart if I have to... unless someone can think of some simple little thing I've overlooked.
So, short of taking the entire dash apart again (like I did for the Parrot install), would anyone have any clue as to why the radio stopped working? Thoughts and brickbats welcomed...
