Another little thing has popped off my NBC interior. This time it is the little Chrome cover for the Emergency brake button. Do I just glue the stupid thing back on?!

Mine popped off the first month I had it. I just left it off. I have no other chrome in the interior so it doesn't look like something is missing. Just glue it back on.

Mine broke off at one point while she was under warranty. The next time I went in for serivce I had my stealership replace it, if it hadn't been covered by the warranty I probably would have left it off.

No. The tabs are broken. I've tried glue.

Cool

Without replacing the entire brake handle and boot assy., the best repair would be to drill a small pilot hole in the center of the black button, counter-sink a small hole through the silver button cap and carefully screw in a flat-headed counter-sink screw to keep it in place...

If you put it back on with some 2-sided 3M tape, it'll stay at least a couple of years. Cheap and easy too

I count myself lucky. Except for the very common window drop problem and one burned up connector on a headlight I have had zero issues with my baby.
