Question Long hair & and the top down

I've had my Vert for 5 days now, and have a pretty good handle on what to do with my hair while driving. I've found that putting it up in a ponytail and a VW baseball cap works great (ponytail through the hole in the back) even at 80+ mph. But I was wondering what the rest of you do if you have long hair? I don't ALWAYS wanna wear it up with a hat on, but if it's a choice between hair up and top up, I'll put my hair up!

I haven't even tried driving with my hair down and I'm afraid the wind would blow it into my eyes too much. My hair is long, down to the middle of my back, no bangs. I don't have a windstop either, would that help? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Two words: Windstop (or is that two? ) No, windstop for real!

Try the baseball cap (pulled tight) over a ponytail. Maybe braided, so your hair won't fly into your face.

You will find the right combo, but have fun trying things out!

When I had long hair, i put the windstop up, my hair in a ponytail and a peace sign baseball cap. This way, I matched the car

I used the windstop and a ponytail and VW hat. With less hair, just the windstop and hat. The hat is optional depending on which direction and time I'm driving. The hat shades the eyes, never really did anything for long hair.

You know how those huge sunglasses are back now?
I'd so do the 50s headscarf look with those in a vert, Thelma&Louise style

Yep, I've been doing the ponytail and vw hat. I guess I'll have to start looking for a windstop on craigslist.

Love the headscarf idea!

My Beloved keeps a fat little ponytail loopy thing around my shifter (I'm sure it has a name, but you know what I mean), she doesn't have super long hair, but it's just below her shoulders, and when we're on the highway, she slips it on her hair (she hates hats of any type, even though I think girls with caps and hats are hawt). Although it seems to me if she doesn't put it on, it doesn't seem to bother her that much with hair flying about.

The windstop works OK, but immeasurably better with the windows up/top down, by the way...

I use a hair clip and will have the windstop up unless someone is in the back seat, doesn't happen often. I choose the hair clip verses the hair tie because I hate the crimp mark that the hair tie makes if I want to put my hair down later. I love my windstop, it works well with windows down, but with the windows up and the windstop in cruising at highway speeds is just like having a big sun roof, very little wind.

That's my two cents.

hahaha I keep extra sunglasses in my car at all times because my hair is too short to pull back but still long enought to get in my eyes.
I recently got glasses so the extra's are just for passengers now. :3

Does anyone else's flowers try to fly away too? I had to tape them into the vase.
