Default Has This Ever Happened To You?

This has happened to me 3-4 times now...I've gone to the store, short trip, etc. with my top down. On the way home, I've passed the house and just kept going, maybe 8-10 miles, just to enjoy the ride a little longer. Sort of like Forrest Gump when he did the long distance running thing in the movie.(i.e., "I just kept running, and running.")

This may be a convertible thing, I don't know. My wife, enjoys "convertibling" immensely, and we once went 700+ miles one day in ours.

No, but sometimes I take the longer more windy way home... especially in the spring.

I might be the only one that this happens to...

We take 700 mile trips regularly down south with the top down. You can also keep relatively dry in a rainstorm if you are going 70+ MPH...

I know exactly what you are talking about.
However I haven't had my NBC long enough to say that it has happened since bringing her home. It probably doesn't help that I walk to work and don't get to spend as much time in my car as I would like.

Definitely not the only one. Back when I had my Miata, I was gonna go see my friend in Tacoma (~4 hour drive). I found out 10 minutes into the drive that he had to work that day, so he wouldn't be able to hang out until ~6 hours after I had planned to be there.

I just drove and drove... and drove... and drove.... A grand total of about 10 hours of driving, close to 700 miles. Then 4 hours of driving the next day to get home!

Well, I have had my NBC for over four months. I can see how you would want to keep driving!
