Question windshield disbonded from covertible top

Hi, The convertible top on my 2004 New Beetle has become disbonded from the back windshield. The top isn't ripped or damaged at all, it just pulled away from the windshield across the entire top edge. The interior cover bonding seems to still be intact. Is there a kit that can repair this or a special glue? I've searhed all over the internet and can't find anything. I've never had a question for this forum that someone didn't know the answer to. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Scott

Well, I have seen this question before and IIRC, the dealer told the other person they needed a new top. I'd call an upholstery shop that does vert tops and ask them. Sorry I'm no help, but here's a bump for your thread.

Mine did the same thing and was lucky repairs were under the warranty. VW replaced the brackets holding the edge top to the back glass. I can only suggest you to to your dealer and asked them.
