Side mirror marker lights

How do you disassemble the side mirrors to replace the marker light. I can see the one retaining screw but its not accessible with the mirror lens in place.

There has to be someone on here who has had that bulb burn out!? Anyone !?

Do I understand correctly. The lever tool pushes the mirror outside? Like the mirror snap in and this tool pushes the mirror from behind outside?
