What is this?

I found this hanging down behind the iPod connector under the dash. Any idea what it is and is it suppose to be there. Thanks -=kid=-

No, that is call the "ashtray light". Its a little dim red light that lights up the cup holder area aka ashtray if installed. Just snap it back in.

Thanks Tom, actually didn't know there was a light now there. I don't smoke so no ashtray.
