Default Inside rear window needs glue?

My headliner pops out of the inside bottom track every time the top is put down. It's easy to snap back in (except not sure it snaps). I was going to use a gel "super glue" which might make it too permanent (but that may not be a problem)-has anyone glued just the inside headliner track? Mine is a 2005. Thanks for any advice!

I have fix my rear windows using black silicone. Need to hold it somehow while it drys. I made sure that the silicone sets for 12 hours.

I used a photography monopod to hold the glass in place while drying. It's been 2 months now - top down and up - rain and all and it is holding well.

Cheers

I just did mine last week with clear silicone adhesive and it worked great. I left the top up for 48hrs after just to make sure it dried good and have taken the top up and down several times since and its stayed in place.

Before i put the adhesive in I practiced putting in so when I put the adhesive I didnt get it everywhere. I put in the adhesive and started with the top part then did the left side and then the right. I let it sit for awhile before i did the bottom part so it had a little bit of time to attach. Then I did the bottom part while my husband held the top to make sure that it didnt come apart. Wala it held together. Let me know if you need more help
