Default Bike rack on a NBC

I just recently purchased a 06 convertible and I am looking into a receiver hitch for a bicycle transport rack. I am quite a bicycle rider and need to be able to carry at least 2 or 3 bicycles at a time. My biggest concern is that I also want to install a performance exhaust system at some point. I guess I'm asking if anyone can recommend a receiver hitch that is compatible with a performance exhaust system

Do you really need a hitch ?
These work very well
Don't believe what you read or what the dealers tell you. you CAN fit a bike rack to a cab

Thanks Blugg, cool pics

I too am thinking about hitches since the 06+ rear bumpers don't have the license plate 'shelf' to rest a trunk style bike rack.

I assume it's still possible to rest a bike rack on 06 rear bumper, but how strong is it . Maybe one 30lb bike for short distances, other wise it can warp the plastic.

I'm no engineer but trunk rack stability depends on the rear bumper shape, 90 degree is best... if anyone have opinions please chime in
