Speaking of Sun Visors . . . Compatibility

Looking for interchangeability information of the New Beetle sun visors. Will a NB sun visor fit a NBC? Will other VW models fit the NB or NBC? Part numbers? Thanks,

im guessing no, but id like to know this myself. i dont have any friends with beetle sedans to compare one to my convertible. i bought some passat visors, with the homelink control and the bases are rectangular, the convertible has a squarer base. I think the beetle sedans have the rectangular base like the passat.

anyone else know about this? the visors themselves are identical, but if theres a way to remove the base and swap them, it would be really helpful!!

I'll watch the thread and if no one comes through I'll compare my '03NBT to the pics, and take some dimensions.

I think there was a change somewhere after '05 of the windshield surround. From pics of the rr mirrors, the mirror mount looks entirely different.

I would like to know if the 2006 and up NB Sedan and Convertible sun visors are the same. Just looking at pictures they may be, but not a definite yes.

Well, I just nailed a set off eBay for an NB, so I'll be able to let everyone know about interchange with NBC. I'm really certain these are going to be flannel gray, and not the pearl gray I'm needing, but at least I'll know about the fitment. lol

Anybody need a set for an NB in flannel gray, I'm gonna' have them if I decide not to resurrect my '02NBT! lmao

No! No interchangeability for the NBC. Unique base shape. Everything else is identical. The hatchback may interchange with the Passat, mount wise, but the visor itself is a slightly different shape. Don't have a Passat to compare with, but I do now have the NB & NBC.

Ditto for the auto dim mirror, if anyone is wondering.
