So funny I just got my new to me 08 NBC and the next day the CEL comes on and now we are having a major snowstorm! How do these Beetles drive in the snow I would assume being FWD w/ traction control they should be OK. I guess it serves me right for buying a convertible in the wintertime! Any thoughts? TY

Did you skid around in the snow, right before the CEL came on? This could be a cause.

I agree with her. How bad are you guys getting hit? I took my wife to the Short Hills mall to Exchange a gift and it was horrible, still is. So many accidents and cars that could not move anymore. How was your nbc on the snow? I was afraid to take ours out so we took "black Betty" instead

The CEL came on two days ago before the storm. I did not drive anywhere today in the Beetle. It is parked but I am thinking of driving it tomorrow into work. This is a really bad storm no doubt about it. Stay safe if you are anywhere near it.

We got hit down here in NC...we got 6 inches worth of snow at our place but I know some places were seeing 10+ east of us, which for NC is just crazy! Stay safe driving if you have to. I've heard the bugs handle well in the snow but once it gets deep, its basically a snow plow. I haven't driven mine in snow yet so I can't say from experience.

Hey, that is very interesting... a sow plow, maybe I can make some bucks with pepper 2night
We already got over 15 inches by us, I just went hunting for salt and a shovel and got nothing, guess I forgot that Sunday schedule thing.
