Default ESP sensor location

Hi, first post, although I've dipped into your forum a few times for help. I've a 20003 RHD NBC and have had numerous electrical problems mostly window and doors. This time I have another problem. Along side the usual door motor fault codes I now have:

00493 ESP sensor unit G419 faulty, and the fault light is on in the dash.

The sensor unit is very expensive and I want to check the wiring connections etc before I decide if I'm going to replace.

But I don't have a clue where the sensor unit is located and can't find it via any searches

hope someone can help

The G419 is located next to the steering column. Now on the LHD vehicles, it is located just to the right of the column, I would guess it would be the same on the RHD as well. It is about 2.5" wide box with rounded corners.
