2005 New Beetle wont go down. Tried relay reset.

I recently had my battery replaced and now my top won't go down. I followed the instructions here on the forum for resetting the switch (using the master window switch, etc. to roll up/down windows). The problem is the MASTER window switch does not work!!! all other window switches work. The master doesn't so I can't reset the top. What do I do??

Hmmm... That's weird. Maybe the reset needs a reset :-(

The master switch may just be screwed for some reason. But you can still relearn the windows with the other switches. Just roll the windows up, then pull up 3 or 4 times on each switch for a couple of seconds. Then see if the top works.

If not, would be nice to get some Measuring Block data from the Roof Electronics. If you have a dealer level scan tool, then you can view all kinds of switch conditions and have a much better idea of what is going on. Right now, you are sort of flying blind.
