Default 2005 super beetle conv. low beam problem

Original problem was intermitten low beam on passenger headlight. A very gentle tap on light or closing the door would turn light on. Removed light and checked for loose or bad connections and found none. Removed bulb, it has continuity and lit up with 12 volts applied. Bright beam works. Cleaned where bulb frame touches holder. All wires thru socket check good. Replaced in fender and now low beam doesn't work at all. Is green wire ground and where does it go? Thanks for any suggestions. Have knowledge of electricity but not car wiring. Bill

Brown is ground. The green is for the low beam and goes to fuse S20 (10A fuse). The white wire is for high beam.

Thanks for the reply. Fuse # 20 was blown but replacing didn't fix problem. I guess I accidently blew it while working on light. Tomorrow I will check to see if I am getting voltage. I read on forum that someone found a broken wire even tho it checked good with meter. I am getting tired of removing and replacing light. Thanks for the wire color info. In appliance and house wiring, green is usually ground. Is there any place I could get a written, rather than a symbol, discription of what each fuse protects? Thanks again for the information, any other suggestions appreciated. Bill
