Default interior musty smell?

Does your car have a musty smell coming from your vents? have you changed the cabin filter? if so and still have a musty smell I have a product that I use on used cars and cars that have been smoked in, its from wynn's products and it's called Aircofresh. You start your car,put the air on,fan on high set to recirculate or max air.shake can & activate leave in car shut doors and windows and let run for 10 minutes. Do not remain in car, the stuff is amazing. It Takes out all oders and bacteria out of car and vents. No more bad oders or bacteria and it only cost around $7.50 a can.Let windows down for 10 min. before re-entering and thats it!

The other way to resolve the problem is before you shut off your beetle isto turn off the A/C but leave the fan running to air out the evaporator coil.

Mine is getting stinky and I thought it was the filter, so I tossed it out. Still Stinky!

The crayon smell has nothing to do with the vents, it is sound absorbing wax under the front carpets. Gets pulled into the ducts when in recirc.

I simply opened up the ducts on my wife's car, sprayed the heck out of both intakes with Wal-Mart brand Lysol (about half a can, baby fresh) with the fans running and they problem has been gone for over a year so far...
